Kung Hei fat choi to all KGV Alumni. The school is in the spirit of the new year of the Tiger with a wonderful stuffed beast dominating the school reception today. Staff and students have been excited by its life like features !
I wanted to write a few words about the recent "Meet the Principal: KGV Now and Planning for the Future" meeting in London. There was a good turnout of nearly 50 KGV Alumni and we were able to have a wide ranging discussion about the school and its plans. To everyone's relief, no cheques were asked for ! It was a warm and pleasant session and I have received some very appreciative words from many Alumni who were able to come. One suggestion is that we do this again next year and make it even more informal, perhaps over drinks. I am happy to do this and welcome your thoughts and views. I would also welcome feedback from those Alumni who were not able to attend. What sort of event would you welcome ? One idea might be to invite specific decades of Alumni to an annual event.
Please remind your Alumni friends to log on to the Alumni Community on the school website. Our numbers are still growing but we need your help in encouraging lost members to give us their details so we can more easily contact them
